Missions & Outreach

Missions & Outreach

Join us as we work together with missionaries around our nation and the world. In addition to giving more than 10% of our corporate budget to missions, we encourage all members to give a sacrificial offering regularly to help undergird our missionaries financially. These precious gifts can be placed in the giving boxes every Sunday. Some go and some send, Gateway considers it a privilege to partner with our brothers and sisters who are serving Christ on the mission field. Our members have travelled to all points of the globe sharing the gospel and reaching people for Christ: India, Mexico, Turkey, Guatemala, Russia, New Zealand, Thailand, Trinidad, Peru, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Haiti, Venezuela, Italy, England, Rwanda, and Uganda. US points of ministry have been in New York City, Dallas, and Chicago. We are involved locally in Hempstead, Hockley, Cypress, Houston and Waller, Texas.

Somebody Cares America

Turning Point Ministries was founded by Dr. Doug Stringer in 1984. TPMI’s passion is to reach the lost, empower the believer and train the church to be world changers. They have grown from a handful of faithful believers to an international compassion ministry impacting tens of thousands.

Widow Intercessors Ministries

Widows Intercessors Ministries (WIM) is a widow and orphan focused Christian organization started in 1999 and registered in 2004 by Pastor Ruth Mwagalwa in Uganda. Ruth started gathering with other widows for prayer and mutual encouragement. It was out of those prayer meetings that widows’ intercessors ministry was birthed. Ruth and her colleagues recognized that there were many other widows in and out of church who were facing insurmountable problems by themselves, and they had to be reached not only with prayers but with practical support as well.

Deborah S.-Christian Faith Ministries

God has used Deborah all over the world in teaching, planting churches, prison ministry, and Bible schools. Educated at Harvard University and called to the mission field in her early twenties, she has seen God heal, save, and raise the dead.

India Gospel Outreach

India Gospel Outreach helps to support hundreds of evangelists who are beginning ministries in new places with no congregation to give them support. IGO also helps to support hundreds of evangelists-in-training, presently attending various Bible training centers throughout India.

ChurchAsia/CompassionAsia

The most effective way to change a community is to plant a church. These missionaries have devoted their lives to planting significant congregations in South Asia, an area that is the most unreached region on earth. That dream began in the year 2000 and since that time they have helped to establish five powerful model churches and over 500 village churches in Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
